At Urban Trailblazer cic, we believe in the power of partnerships between social service organizations and corporations to create a positive impact in our communities. As a community leader, I highly recommend exploring this type of collaboration as a means of supporting community engagement initiatives.
Through our edible garden and gardening programs, we bring together social service organizations serving underrepresented segments of the community with corporations eager to make a difference. Our projects have been funded by Groundwork, Ealing council, and The National Lottery, and focus on green social prescribing.
HORTICULTURE AS A PATHWAY TO WELL-BEING Urban Trailblazer cic uses gardening as a tool to promote physical movement, social interaction, mental engagement, nutrition knowledge, and psychological well-being. This approach is especially beneficial for those looking to increase their physical activity in a therapeutic and enjoyable way.
COMMUNITY GARDENING PROJECTS: EMPOWERING PARTICIPANTS Our community gardening projects provide participants with the opportunity to increase their physical activity through gardening tasks like harvesting, sorting, and watering. These simple actions not only stimulate the senses, improve moods, and promote social interaction, but also help to restore independence and self-confidence.
As a community leader, I believe in the transformative power of horticulture and encourage you to learn more about our programs. If you are interested in finding out more, please reach out to us at urbantrailblazer@protonmail.com.
